ELIGIBILITY

A) 2-Year Full-Time MBA Course

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in the MBA programme shall be a graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects or in the Honours subject in the bachelor's degree. A relaxation of 5% shall be extended to the SC and ST candidates belonging to the state of Jharkhand with valid caste, income and residential certificates. Students in the final year of their graduation may also apply provisionally, subject to the condition that, in case selected, they shall compulsorily produce the evidence of the required qualification on or before 31st January, 2022. The reservation policy of the Government of Jharkhand shall apply in admission and the benefit of the same shall be given to the candidates belonging to the State of Jharkhand only. The candidates of other states in the reserved category shall be treated as General category candidates. Other relaxations or reservations shall be applicable as per the prevailing guidelines of Ranchi University for Post Graduate admissions.

B) 3-Year Part-Time Executive MBA Course

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in the programme shall be a graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects or in the Honours subject in the bachelor's degree. A relaxation of 5% shall be extended to the SC and ST candidates belonging to the state of Jharkhand with valid caste, income and residential certificates. Apart from the basic minimum qualification as stated above, an applicant willing to apply for admission in the Executive MBA (Part Time) course must have a minimum of two years of fulltime experience as on the 1st of August in the year of admission. Candidates should either be sponsored or produce No Objection Certificate from his / her present employer to pursue the programme.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Information Brochure & Application Form can be obtained in person from the Admissions Office, Institute of Management Studies, Ranchi University, Morabadi Campus, Ranchi - 834008, or downloaded from the website : http : //imsru.edu.in The Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (INR Five Hundred only) should be submitted in the shape of an a/c payee Demand Draft in favour of "VOCATIONAL A-1 MBA COURSE" payable at Ranchi. The duly filled-in Application Form along with all the enclosures may be sent to the above address.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

The candidates shall be selected from merit list as per the prevailing selection policy in place. For more details, please visit the Institute's website.

ADMISSION

The Provisional Selection-list will be published on the Institute Website and Notice Board on notified date. The 2-year full-time MBA programme shall start normally in the third week of July. The executive MBA course normally starts from 1st week of September.
