As a part of the Summer Internship project, students submit a detailed project report and make a formal presentation before a review panel consisting of faculty members and business executives from industry and academics. The second year courses are a mix of compulsory (core) courses and electives in the specialization areas of students' choice.

SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROJECT (SIP)

At the end of the second semester, each student is required to take up a six-week internship assignment with an organization of choice. This is a compulsory component of the curriculum. The Internship has dual objectives. In the first place, it allows a student to apply the concepts learnt in the classroom and hone his or her ability to define, diagnose, analyze and solve business problems. Secondly, it provides a student a glimpse into the existing corporate environment and an appreciation of the interpersonal skills required to excel in the workplace.
